A skein of Pinkfeet were calling above Baumber last night at 2355hrs.The direction of travel was southward. Obviously heard only below the mist, am also unaware as to the status of the moon at present?
This morning at 0837hrs a Skein of c50 was flying northward up the Bain valley over Hemingby.
This afternoon at Shearmans Wath, West Ashby. Wildfowl numbers are beginning to build after recent rains as the scrapes start to fill with water, present were:
100 Greylag geese
2 Canada geese
c70 Teal
7 Mallard
5 Snipe
