About 10am this morning. About 50 yards beyond the gate, amid some Blue Tits moving along hedge. Not seen but called three times - the third time after a bit of pishing. Hedgerow also held Fieldfare, Redwing, Lesser Redpoll and Goldcrest, amongst the usual tits, buntings and finches. Other highlights were a couple of Goldeneye on the reservoir, c150 Pink-footed Geese feeding behind cross bank and a Sparrowhawk. |
