A walk along the Great Eau from South Thoresby to Claythorpe today: 2 Ravens 4 Common Buzzard 15 Siskin 1 Lesser Redpoll 1 Grey Wagtail (over) Some excellent habitat along the river but restricted access preventing thorough coverage. Looks a tad narrow and shallow for wintering C. c. cinclus. Has anybody walked the Claythorpe-Withern stretch? Appears to be wider if less accessible. Regards, Josh |
