Highlights between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall and around the windswept realignment area were a juvenile Hen Harrier, a Peregrine with Golden Plover prey, 20 Twite and a Water Pipit in loose association with 15 Rock Pipits. I could not find the Black Brant amongst the 1,000+ Brent Goose flock, but vegetation masked a part of the flock. Other waterbirds included 130 Shelducks, 255 Teal, one Pintail, 600 Knot, 210 Redshanks, 72 Grey Plovers and 470 Dunlin.
