One Water Pipit was again present on the realignment area along with 16 Rock Pipits, 3 Twite, 5 Siskins, one Stonechat, 13 Grey Partridges, 3 Common Buzzards, the Ruddy Shelduck hybrid and one Greenshank. Other noteworthy counts included 1,300 Brent Geese, 2,400 Golden Plovers and 275 Redshanks. 210 Pink-footed Geese headed south and 37 Whooper Swans came in from the north and alighted on the NW corner. A Chiffchaff and 2 Blackcaps were at the south end.
