Post subject:  Birds of prey-Witton/Alkborough

Seen this morning:

2 marsh harrier (females)
Hen harrier (juv) flew with marsh harriers then went to ground in reeds
Merlin-very close view as it flew up from reeds with a Starling in its talons. Flew off into trees to eat.
Kestrel

Heard water rail
C2000 golden plover
Single Ruff
