A Cetti’s Warbler called and eventually sang briefly at dusk on the north side of Grebe Lake, only the second Reserve record. At least one Water Rail calling from Big Island also.

First winter female Greater Scaup showing well from the south side of Teal Lake throughout the day.

With Grahame Hopwood

Ben

Scaup still.

Also at Millennium Green (North Hykeham Pits);

Colour rung Greylag Goose, wearing an orange band on its left leg.

An unseasonal Oystercatcher at the site where a pair had bred successfully this year.

Ben
