Grey Phalarope was originally picked up from 360° hide but spent the afternoon on the flooded grassland behind the scrapes, viewable from the old car-park (although always quite distant). I note that Steve Keightley tweeted that the bird was still present at 15:30, so hopefully it will hunker down for the night and stick around for those wanting to work off their Christmas excesses tomorrow.

On a side note, the phalarope is Frampton's 35th wader species of 2015, which I'm led to believe is a record for the most wader species on any RSPB reserve in a single calender year. =D>
