Well, I managed to totally avoid seeing the grey phalarope, which was reported at 08.00am and seen again in the afternoon...

I saw 56 species, a nice morning out....

Highlights from yesterday,311215 included the following:

1 Little Stint(Seen in flight only over vis centre/reedbed lake),when all the birds present were flushed by a Merlin.
2 Merlin.
1 Adult Peregrine.
1st w drake Scaup(Reedbed Lake).
6 Goldeneye(2 drakes Reedbed Lake,4 females,Farm Res.).
2 Barnacle Geese(Wet Grassland).

And 5 probable White-fronted Geese,seen in flight distantly.
