Highlights from a couple of hours 1st thing this morning included:

2 marsh harriers including a green wing-tagged bird which has been around a while (and referred to by Hugh the other day)
3 whoopers which flew in from, and later departed to, the north
c250 pinkfeet over to NW
1 stonechat
48 shoveler
1 pr pintail
Had counted c390 wigeon and c100 teal when birds visible on the deck, however, all were flushed by a hot air ballon when estimated c500 wigeon and c150 teal

En route had a single short-eared owl perched along the Counter Drain at Tongue End - and single barn owl, little egret and buzzard along Bourne South Fen
