On various counts of local wet HLS grass fields adjacent to ST NNR Lapwing c 1200, golden plover c 650 and on cereal field north of Station Rd pink foot geese 1209 and 5 ad European whitefront and 1 imm Greenland ,c 480 starling, 54 stock dove,1 marsh harrier, 180 rook,c 350 curlew, on nnr 3 screaming water rail,1 b 1 g hen harrier. At Horseshoe Point Friday c 7000 knot and 1 long tail duck on sea. Per Peter and Janet Roworth, Cliff Morrison, Neil Pike and Myself. regards John |
