Obvious highlight of the day was the Red-necked Grebe which was seen well for the 3 hours i was there yesterday morning.

Other highlights were pretty much the usual:-

Cormorant - 3
Grey Heron - 1
Little Egret - 2 (poss 3)
Mute Swan - 6
Tufted Duck - 2m & 3f
Gadwall - 1f
Water Rail - 1 or 2 (heard only today)
Kingfisher - 1 posing nicely at the lake
Sparrowhawk - 1
Redpoll -
Siskin - 3 at least
Redwing - 1 (plus 8 - 10 other unidentified thrushes)

ps haven't been down this morning so can't give update on RNG
