Red-Necked Grebe was still showing well at Cleethorpes Country Park at 2-30pm this afternoon, Sunday 17 January 2016
Close up views, especially when it dived and came up with a fish, was advised a small roach, which the Grebe gobbled so quickly, I missed the photograph, but was delighted I actually saw the Red-Necked Grebe at last!

Still providing excellent close-up views at 11.45am today. That smudgy winter plumage must make it a fiendish challenge for bird book illustrators
