Slavonian Grebe, redhead Smew and female Scaup still present at Toft Newton this morning. Also 64 Pochard, 56m & 8f, 48 Tufted Duck, 15 Gadwall, 9 Goldeneye, 4 Shelduck, 25 Great Crested Grebes & 5 Little Grebes. 6 Bewick's Swans, 2 adults & 4 juvs, on Branston fen with 108 Mute Swans. 27 Whoopers & 1 Bewicks Swan on Norton fen 2 Nuthatches & 2 Marsh Tits in Neville wood, coming to seed by road side. With Rick Bennett & Phil Espin. |
