c 30 Whooper Swans with c 60 Mute Swans in sugar beet towards the Bardney end of Nocton Fen this morning. Also 1500/2000 Lapwings close to the sugar beet factory with just 8 Golden Plover. Cheers David Cohen |

Thursday 11.02.2016. (Apologies for the late post!) 25 Whoopers with c 60 Mute Swans this morning, plus a smart Grey Wagtail and two Little Owls by the roofless barn. Earlier saw a Nuthatch and a pair of Marsh Tits in Neville Wood, another Marsh Tit in Bottom Barff Wood and heard GSW drumming for the first time this year. Cheers David Cohen |
