100+ Finch flock down Butt lane, just out of Norton Disney, yesterday; mainly Chaffinch, but quite a few Tree Sparrows, Goldfinch and Linnets and at least one Redpoll, not quite sure whether Lesser or Mealy, photo in discussion bird album.
Also a pair of Mistle thrush in the favoured oak tree and a pair of Great Crested Grebe displaying on the small pit.
