We currently have 6 egyptian geese on the lake at the back our house (behind at the Hume pub at South Kyme). Initial assessment is three adults and three juveniles. Have got photos. They turned up at about 11.20 on 17 Feb
Could well be from Tattershall lakes which is quite close if you are a bird!
Also an SEO seen by the river near the church at 15.30 on 13 Feb (I have got video footage) and previously on 10 Feb at the same location at 16.15. It had an interesting tussle with a kestrel on the 13th - although that was before I manged to get my phone out of my pocket. Looked like the SEO was on the ground with something and the kestrel thought it should at least shared.
Kingfisher also being seen regularly on the river.
Occasional barn owl sighting, generally when dark though. So some hope that they may be increasing.
