An hour and a half in Callans Lane Wood this afternoon hoping for the first Spring migrants. Unsuccessful in that, but Winter visitors included 3 Redpolls and a small flock of Fieldfares. Residents included 2 Marsh Tits which I normally find low down in the shrub layer but today they were in the crowns of mature oaks. Total 22 species for Birdtrack.
