A dog crashing through a reedy swamp in land earmarked for development, adjacent to a building site at Witham St Hughs put up no less than 7 Common Snipe and a Reed Bunting. Other highlights of my lunchtime walk around this urban fringe included a singing Chiffchaff and a singing Yellowhammer. Ian |
