Only the usual species seen on a circuit of the realignment area, most notable being at least 27 Avocets, a Peregrine, 3 Goldcrests and a Corn Bunting. A single Rock Pipit and 2 Twite were the first I had seen for over a fortnight.

I also had a walk around the realignment area this afternoon, notable species were (all birdtracked)

28 Avocets
1 Little Ringed Plover
1 Ringtail Hen Harrier
1 Merlin
1 Sparrowhawk which helpfully flushed a Wheatear
7 Twite
