The main birds of note at the south end this afternoon were 2 Chiffchaffs, one Willow Warbler, one White Wagtail, 4 Swallows, 4 Sand Martins, 5 Song Thrushes and 6 Twite. There was a significant increase of Linnets to 170.

You did well to be out birding this afternoon Steve, assuming the weather was the same as ours.
It poured down here until about tea time.

This corner of the coast at the mouth of the Humber often fails to correspond to the weather of surrounding areas. Following the overnight rain and persistent thick mist of the morning, this afternoon was the best part of the day before the rain returned at about 1630. However, there was nothing much in the way of new birds Roy.

Steve.
