Tuesday 19th April

Springlike weather at last! Turn out some cattle onto grass.

Pr of Mallard on R Bain with newly hatched brood
2 prs of Shelduck
Pr Mute Swans with nest.
Pr Black Headed gulls
Number of breeding Lapwing prs
Green sandpiper
Pr L Ringed Plover ( this was a surprise find)

3 cracking male Yellow wagtails (first of season for me)
