A Swift north at 1125 and 2 Common Redstarts were personal firsts for the spring. Other highlights at the south end were 28 Common Whitethroats, 5 Sedge Warblers, one Grasshopper Warbler, 3 Lesser Whitethroats, 2 Blackcaps, 2 Chiffchaffs, one Willow Warbler, 4 Yellow Wagtails, 2 Cuckoos, 15 Swallows, 2 House Martins, 3 Greenshanks, 3 Common Buzzards and one Short-eared Owl. A Red Kite passed to the SW at 1000. |
