The first Garden Warbler was singing at the south end. Counts of most species were down on account of the strong wind. Most notable were 3 Cuckoos, one Wheatear and one Common Redstart. Two Marsh Harriers were present, one of which arrived off the sea and made heavy going across the mudflats to the dunes.
