Highlights of today on patch:- 1 Egyptian Goose, 2 Shelduck, 4 Gadwall & 2 Little Ringed Plovers on flooded cow field. 1 drake Goosander on mere. 3 Common Terns at mere. Prolonged views of Hobby hawking insects over mere, couldn't see what it was catching but seemed to be taking plenty. 1 Swift. First Garden Warbler singing. |
