Highlights at the south end this morning included 2 Whinchats, 4 Wheatears, one Redstart, 2 Garden Warblers, 2 Cuckoos and 8 Whimbrel. Common Whitethroats, mainly singing males, had reached a new peak of 42 in the pleasant conditions. |
