Five Black Terns, four in stunning summer plumage were at Thorpe Lake for an hour late afternoon before heading NE.

Also a smart sum plum Turnstone on Teal Lake this evening.

Turnstone surprisingly still hanging on, for its fourth day, obviously finding the newly revealed substrate to its liking.

A Whimbrel briefly yesterday and a Sanderling tonight (all Teal Lake new workings).

With Grahame Hopwood

Ben
