Drake Garganey still present in SE corner at 7.30 pm. Also 6 Common Sandpipers 1 Greenshank 1 Short eared Owl being mobbed across the NW corner by a single Black headed Gull 12 Yellow Wagtails 2 Grey Partridges Seems to be a blue green algae bloom in the NE and SW corners which has stained the bank blue. Two enormous dead fish next to the bank in the NE corner that looked like record breaking roach to me. Anyone else noticed them and identified them? |
