The WeBS count for the realignment area brought highlights of at least 40 Avocets, 4 Little Ringed Plovers, 5 Greenshanks, one Ruff, one Common Sandpiper, some heard only Whimbrel, 2 Barnacle Geese, 2 Marsh Harriers, one Peregrine, 3 Short-eared Owls, one Kingfisher, 2 Cuckoos, one Wheatear, one Whinchat, one Grasshopper Warbler and 2 Tree Pipits. |
