Yesterday 5 singing Garden Warblers, 5 singing Whitethroats, 8 Chiffchaff , 5 Willow Warblers and at least a dozen Blackcap territories. I only heard one Cuckoo. A pair of Bullfinches were also of note. From my house in nearby Rippingale a Cuckoo has been calling every morning at dawn and last Thursday two were calling. Regards Ian |
