Linwood Warren - 9.0-12.0 Pair of Spotted flycatchers to right of Reserve entrance : Great Sp.woodp.( 1 female) :tree pipit singing ; tree creepers(2) ; reed warbler and reed bunting ( male ) by the little pool: blackcaps(2) : redstart glimpsed, and calling in alarm. Plus chiff chaff, willow warblers ; garden warbler singing ( I think) and green woodpecker yaffling. A very pleasant morning with lots of bird-song. |
