A seawatch was made between 1040 and 1200, high tide being at 1330. Northerly passage was confined to 104 Herring Gulls, 20 Great Black-backs, 2 Lesser Black-backs, 2 Cormorants, one Gannet, one Little Tern and one dark phase Arctic Skua. Waders onshore included 238 Sanderling, one Little Stint, 131 Ringed Plovers and one Whimbrel. A Barn Owl and 2 Short-eared Owls were present on the dunes.
