On Monday, 16 May two singing corn buntings at Byard's Leap: One north of Byard's Leap cottage on High Dyke green lane, one south of Byard's Leap by the road which cuts through from High Dyke to the A17 opposite Cranwell airfield. On evening of 17 May, while counting heron nests at Nocton (6 occupied this year), a hobby over Nocton Wood. John |
