A new Spotted Flycatcher and a new Garden Warbler at the south end seemed to be the only obvious grounded migrants in the early dense fog. A Marsh Harrier and a Short-eared Owl hunted the marshes and a ringtail Hen Harrier flew south at 1130.

I assume the HH was the one I saw at Horseshoe Pt earlier. Very distant and I couldn't age it

It seems very likely this late in the spring. I saw the bird at long range over the fields before it reached the marshes south of me and I couldn't age the bird either.
