A Gannet and 4 Fulmars flew north at sea and returning waders onshore were 49 Curlews, 2 Whimbrel and a Golden Plover. A party of 24 Tree Sparrows was present near the old coastguard cottages while a newly-harvested field of lucerne was frequented by 960 Starlings, 60 Stock Doves and a 2nd cy Mediterranean Gull.`

I have had small numbers of Fulmars and Gannets moving S past Chapel Pt recently. Virtually all of the Fulmars are moulting birds.
