Post subject:  Donna Nook, 10th July.

There was some good southerly passage of Sand Martins this morning when ca. 570 were counted. Some of these birds hawked over or rested on the beach for a short while before continuing southwards. They were accompanied by 60 Swallows and 12 Common Swifts. Waders on the shore at high tide included 32 Whimbrel, 50 Knot and 6 Bar-tailed Godwits.
