If anybody is interested the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust are satellite tracking Woodcock wintering in the UK. Thorn is the name given to a bird that was trapped in Welton le Marsh woods this year. It flew rapidly to Belarus where it is breeding. Lots of info on the GWCT website especially the blog. |
