An Osprey was watched fishing near the tide-line out from Pye's Hall from 1125 -1135. It then disappeared, but was relocated by Tony Housman and Steve Leek out from Grainthorpe sluice at 1400. Also on the mudflats were 830 Dunlin and an adult Mediterranean Gull.
A circuit of the realignment area brought rather limited results, most notable being 120 Redshanks, one Greenshank, one Common Sandpiper, 4 Little Ringed Plovers, 6 Avocets, one Whimbrel, 17 Teal, 6 Kestrels, 2 Corn Buntings, 18 Tree Sparrows, ca.35 House Sparrows and a juvenile Cuckoo.

That should read as Steve Meek, of course. Sorry about that Steve!

Typo or Freudian slip?

The former, naturally, plus an age-related lessening awareness.
