Did my usual walk around the patch today and found a nice flock, consisting of a family party of Willow Warblers, a family party of Marsh Tits and a Spotted Flycatcher. This is the first Spotted Fly I have seen in the area for two or three years!

Little Owls appear to have bred by the Cricket Pitch at Nocton and there are at least three family parties of Green Woodpecker in the area, suggesting a successful season for them.

In total, 31 species - all on Birdtrack.

Cheers,

David Cohen
