Highlights on a seawatch at the south end from 0830-1000 included 6 Gannets north and 127 Common Terns and a Great Crested Grebe south. A further 54 Common Terns were present on the shore where other notable birds were 2 Little Terns, a very poor count of 14 Sandwich Terns, a 2nd cy Yellow-legged Gull, 3 adult Mediterranean Gulls, 27 Curlews, 93 Whimbrel and a Peregrine. |
