14 August 11.00 - 13.30 Fillingham group of thermalling raptors: 11 Buzzard 1 Marsh harrier 1 Peregrine 1 Sparrowhawk Also seen was 1 juv Marsh harrier hunting low over the lake and 2 young Buzzard plus 1 adult at the W end of lake. 1 Hobby and single Swift with many hirundines plus single Kestrel. Nuthatch calling near the church and Kingfisher heard on lake Ian Birch |
