Slightly later, today (13th). This walk form 1800-1830 produced quite a wide range of birds, since they had harvested the fields, which had wheat in. They were also ploughing, the fields, as well.

c. 1,000 Black-headed Gulls (no rare Gulls in them, from what I could see)
15 House Sparrows
2 Buzzard (pair)
3 Blue tit
1 Moorhen (heard)
2 Robin (heard, alarm call)
3 Collard Dove
2 Wood pigeon
1 Pheasant (heard)
15 Starling
12 Greylag geese (flying over in V-formation)
2 Goldfinch (on wire)
