Highlights on the realignment area this morning included 26 Little Egrets, 10 Greenshanks, one Green Sandpiper, one Marsh Harrier, one Peregrine, one Mediterranean Gull and one Garganey. The only grounded migrants seen were 2 Willow Warblers, one Wheatear and one Whinchat. Two Arctic Skuas were harrying Sandwich Terns over the shore where there were good counts of 1,300 Dunlin and 44 Whimbrel. |
