Highlights between the RAF base and the northern perimeter of the realignment:

3 Spoonbills were still on the realignment and a Wood Sandpiper flew over calling. Single Whimbrel, 5 Greenshanks, 5 Common Sandpipers, 3 Common Snipe and a Water Rail were also noted. Another Greenshank was calling from the direction of Grainthorpe Haven.

Raptors seen were Marsh Harrier, Common Buzzard and 2 Peregrine.

Passerine totals were still low - 1 Wheatear, 1 Pied Flycatcher, 1 Blackcap, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 10 Common Whitethroat, 3 Willow Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler and 1 Reed Warbler.

Regards

Chris (with Josh Forrester)
