17km run around the villages yesterday (29/8/16) produced a Little Egret at the Foston Ford (first parish record), singing Grey Partridge at Dry Doddington (another singing at Foston Ford on the 25th), 3 Yellow Wagtails and 5 Tree Sparrows and a late-ish Swift at Stubton.
Went back later on with bins and camera to look for the egret which showed up again:
