A visit to Fillingham at lunchtime today produced a minimum of 200 swallows. C.160 on the wires and 40 in the horse meadows and c30 feeding over the lake. This is far more than the local population. Also a yellow wagtail that was harassed by 2 swallows and flew off east. Also Sparrowhawk and grey heron. |
