A juvenile Pomarine Skua on the beach at the south end eventually left to the south. Also 3 Arctic Skuas south and 2 Gannets and 4 Common Scoters north. Ca.60 Sandwich Terns and 10 Common Terns were also seen. The dunes were exceptionally quiet with the most noteworthy being 4 Willow Warblers, 7 Common Whitethroats, one Wheatear, 170 Swallows and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. |
