After six weeks very uneventful birding, this morning was exciting! 45 species, all on BirdTrack, including the following local highlights: Teal 1 (first since April) Hobby 1 Green Sandpiper 2 (the nearest to a flock of waders I expect to see) Chiffchaff 10+ (with many singing today) Willow Warbler 2 Blackcap 6+ Whitethroat 2 Reed Warbler 2 Spot Fly 1 Still no new species since late June, however!
