There was not much activity in the fog which persisted all morning. The best I could find at the south end included 2 Marsh Harriers, one Blackcap, 4 Common Whitethroats and one Common Redstart.

Between the RAF base and Pyes Hall a check of the bushes produced 3 Redstarts, 2 continental Song Thrushes, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 1 Common Whitethroat & 3 Goldcrests.

A brief look at the southern end of the realignment produced 3 Spoonbills, 2 Ruff, 1 Greenshank, Kingfisher and adult Med Gull

Regards

Chris
