After doing my WEBS count at Withern I went to have a look for Derrick Evans YBW, reported on Birdguides at Howden's Pullover without success.

So I had a look in the Sycamores at the end of Sea Lane, a traditionally good spot and stood staring at the big tree next to the big green corrugated shed. After 4 Chiffies a YBW appeared and showed well on and off for 20 minutes calling once in that period.

I then went down to Sea View and bumped in to the idlebirder who told me Peter Roworth had had a YBW in his garden there this morning. I didn't see it. So it seems there are plenty about.

A vocal Yellow-browed Warbler was just north of Shovelers at Gib this afternoon. I missed the Sabine's Gull this morning though.

A Lapland Bunting was over the East Dunes and nearly 1000 Meadow Pipits headed south (along with c 250 grounded) as did two Sand Martins, 3 Grey Wags and 8 Yellow Wags.

A Grasshopper Warbler was out on Millennium Ridge (I couldn't turn it into anything rarer)

Spot Fly, two Whinchats and a nice scattering of warblers and crests were also in the ED. Five C Buzzards circled very high south.
